CONNICK –FUNDING PROVIDED FOR LOCAL ROADS

Wexford Minister of State Sean Connick TD has confirmed that the National Roads Authority are to provide supplementary funding for a number of National Primary Roads in Co. Wexford. Minister Connick confirmed today that funding of €50,000 has been secured for the New Ross Ring Road, €250,000 for Jamestown on the N30 and €300,000 for Scarawalsh on the N25.

According to Minister Connick:  “I would like to welcome this increased funding for a number of important roads in Co. Wexford.  Each of these roads needed extra work carried out on them and the Department of Transport were very understanding when the case for this extra funding was put to them.  I hope that these works are carried out as quickly as possible.”
